Arjun Tendulkar, son of Sachin Tendulkar, is in limelight. Batting at number 7 for Goa, Arjun Tendulkar scored a century against Rajasthan in the Ranji Trophy tournament, which is being credited to the rigorous training of Yuvraj Singh’s father Yograj Singh. It was Yograj Singh who recognized the hidden batsman inside Arjun Tendulkar and inspired him.

Meanwhile, Yograj Singh, father of former Indian all-rounder Yuvraj Singh, has made a big disclosure about Sachin Tendulkar’s son Arjun Tendulkar. He told in an interview to news agency TOI that one day during training, Arjun Tendulkar was hit by a ball on his chin which started bleeding. They wanted Arjun to go out of the ground but Arjun refused to do so. Regarding this story, Yograj Singh told that by doing this, Arjun Tendulkar reminded him of Sachin.
What did Yograj Singh say about Arjun

During a conversation with the Times of India, Yograj Singh said, “Arjun was fielding during practice. Meanwhile, a direct throw had hit his chin. His face was almost bleeding. I saw his face and said – go apply ice. Come tomorrow for practice. But he immediately came with the ice and said, I will play now. He reminded me of Sachin.”

Let us tell you that Yograj Singh played one Test and six ODIs for India from 1980 to 81. He told that seeing the hard work of Arjun, he remembered Sachin Tendulkar. In fact, in the debut match in the year 1989, Sachin Tendulkar was also injured on the ball of former Pakistan bowler Waqar Younis. Despite the injury, he had said – I will play and today his name is recorded in the pages of history.
