Kohli-Anushka:Indian team’s star batsman Virat Kohli is on a religious journey with his wife Anushka Sharma. Kohli and Anushka reached Rishikesh during the break between the ODI and Test series against New Zealand and Australia. During this, both also went to the ashram of Swami Dayanand Saraswati.
Swami Dayanand was the spiritual mentor of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. According to media reports, both have reached Rishikesh for religious rituals. The religious program is expected to take place on Tuesday. Apart from this, both of them meditated by offering flowers on the tomb of the Guru.
Swami Dayanand was the spiritual guide of PM Modi. The Prime Minister went to the ashram of Swami Dayanand Saraswati at Sheesham Jhari in Rishikesh to meet him. Swami Dayanand later became Brahmalin. After reaching Dayanand Saraswati’s ashram, Kohli and Anushka first went to his samadhi. He also meditated for 20 minutes.
After this Swami Sakshatkrit Nand Maharaj, President of Dayanand Ashram blessed Kohli and Anushka. He will spend the night in the ashram. Apart from this, all three ate food prepared in the kitchen of the ashram. During this, he consumed bread, vegetables, khichdi and curry. In addition, one can attend regular yoga classes at all three ashrams.
